Bobb Fantauzzo performs both as a soloist as well as leader of his jazz trio, JazZen.

JazZen is a Twin Cities based trio that performs original jazz voiced through the organic tonalities of world flutes and the rhythmic undercurrents of electric cello and drums, “incorporating everything from modern groove to world jazz” (MOJA Radio). With their unique sound and musical creativity, JazZen is “the integration of an almost prayerful melodicism suggestive of Charles Lloyd with a more forward-thrusting, free-wheeling improvisational approach that echoes Coltrane, Davis, Shorter, and Coleman.” (Jazz Police)

In addition to performing in intimate spaces (coffee houses, breweries, clubs, libraries and art galleries) JazZen has also performed for larger audiences at festivals (Twin Cities Jazz Festival and Mid-West Music Festival) and conventions (World Flute Association, International Native American Flute Association, and Social Theory, Politics and the Arts).

 

 

 

All used  disks are professionally buffed and test played before shipping and will play  well in most machines.
